“The Witches” go back to the screen

Finally, the return to the big screen is announced one of the films that involves the most perverse witches of the cinema, a classic of the 90’s turned into a remake “The Witches”.

The novel was published in 1983 by Rolad Dhal, and its first premiere as a film in 1990. It is now said that in this new version he is involved in some way in the Guillermo del Toro project, so there will be no doubt that the film will be great.

To remember in Roald Dahl’s tape, he tells the story of a boy who moves to England to live with his beloved grandmother, a witch hunter in her youth.

During a vacation in an elegant hotel they have the misfortune of crossing the road with the terrible association of witches led by the darkest of all “The great witch”, who devise a macabre plan to get rid of all the children in the world turning them into mice.

Anjelica Huston, was the one who gave life to the role of “the Great Witch” for the first time, leaving us all open mouth with her chilling performance, and although for this occasion she will not be in her new version, it has been confirmed that the protagonist will be Anne Hathaway.

Also, those who will be present are Octavia Spencer, like the grandmother and Jahzir Bruno, like the child.

Warner Bros confirmed its release date that will be for October 16, 2o20, and those who are involved as producers, in addition to Guillermo del Toro, there is also Alfonso Cuarón.
