Un estudio científico llamado “The Science of Scare” que realizó la compañía británica Broadbandchoices determinó cuales eran las películas más espantosas de todos los tiempos.

Para dar con el resultado, convocaron a 50 personas donde les colocaron monitores para leer su frecuencia cardiaca durante dos horas mientras veían las cintas de miedo más top y más publicadas en los foros.

Estas son las 10 películas que según los estudios, aceleraron mayormente el corazón de las personas…

10. Los Huéspedes

Una madre deja a sus dos hijos al cuidado de sus abuelos, cosas extrañas suceden por lo que pronto los niños descubrirán que los ancianos están involucrados en un secreto profundo e inquietante.

Una película de 94 minutos dirigida por M. Night Shyamalan, aunque tuvo una critica regular no deja de ser una de las películas con escenas que perturbó a muchas personas.

9. El descenso

Unas amigas se reúnen para explorar la peligrosa cueva de una montaña, cuando quedan atrapadas en medio de la oscuridad, extrañas criaturas comienzan a acecharlas.

Del director Neil Marshall, una cinta que te dejara en todo momento tenso, sin duda se gano el noveno lugar en esta lista de horror.

8. El Babadook

Se podría decir que el Babadook es como “El coco”. Un niño comienza a obsesionarse por la criatura que vive dentro de su libro infantil, cuando la madre descubre que el pequeño decía la verdad, la viuda hará lo imposible para deshacerse de aquella fuerza oscura que pronto, irrumpirá su hogar.

Dirigida por Jennifer kent. Sí bien, el Babadook no hace mucho acto de presencia al principio de la cinta, sin embargo, la historia es muy inquietante, más porque te hace viajar al pasado y recordar los tiempos donde seguramente de niño le temías a la criatura que vivía bajo tu colchón…

7. El Conjuro 2

No sorprende que esta película se encuentre en la lista, más porque estamos viviendo en carne propia la vida real de la familia Hodgson, una entidad que atormentaba a la familia y utilizaba el cuerpo de Janeth (la hija mediana) para comunicarse.

Los efectos son tan buenos, que muchos tuvieron que abandonar la sala de cine debido a las escalofriantes escenas.

6. It Follows

Quizás esta cinta no sea de las más conocidas, sin embargo, la historia provoca que se ricen los vellos de la piel. La maldición es transmitida al cometer actos carnales, por lo que seres sobrenaturales comienzan a perseguir a una joven, quien deberá pasar la condena a alguien más si es que no desea terminar como los sujetos anteriores.

Escrita y dirigida por David Robert Mitchell, sin duda, este genio provocó los escalofríos en muchas personas.

5. Actividad Paranormal

Un joven matrimonio comienzan a experimentar extraños sucesos después de haberse mudado de casa, por lo que el esposo decide documentar todo. A raíz que las cosas van de mal en peor, pronto descubrirán que aquella fuerza sobrenatural va mas allá de su comprensión.

Dirigida por israelí Oren Peli. Una cinta que te hará olvidar que es simplemente eso, una cinta. Las escenas parecen tan reales que pareciera que eres el protagonista de aquella terrorífica historia.

4. Hereditary

Después de que la hija menor pierde la vida, una madre intenta hacer contacto con ella desde el mas allá, esto y otros actos inesperados darán el paso libre para que una fuerza malévola consiga su pase al mundo terrenal como había sido predicho el destino.

Escrita y dirigida por Ari Aster, esta película tiene una de las escenas mas inquietantes y perturbadoras, sin embargo, la historia es tan bizarra que no te esperas el final.

3. El Conjuro 

Si la segunda entrega esta en la lista, por supuesto que la primera no podía faltar en el puesto numero 3 de las más terroríficas, pues si el caso de la familia Hodgson te estremeció hasta los huesos, el caso de la familia Perron no te dejara conciliar el sueño durante varias semanas.

Una casa maldita por la entidad de una bruja, la cual quiere acabar con todos los integrantes de la familia, ademas de poseer el cuerpo de la madre.

2. La noche del Demonio

Un niño queda en coma casi de la nada. Después de varios estudios sin encontrar el motivo del padecimiento, por última alternativa, los padres recurrirán a una psíquica quien descubre que el niño hacía viajes astrales involuntariamente, ahora un terrible demonio lo tiene atrapado en el otro lado y su padre hará lo imposible por recuperarlo.

Dirigida por el genio del terror James Wan. Muchos criticaban la apariencia del supuesto demonio, sin embargo, es una cinta que no deja de tener escenas perturbadoras y aterró a muchos, por eso, se ganó el segundo lugar en esta lista.

1. Siniestro

Hemos llegado al puesto numero uno de esta lista, y aunque no lo creas, al leer la frecuencia cardiaca de las 50 personas, los resultados mostraron un promedio de 86 latidos por minuto durante la proyección de esta película, 21 latidos más que los registrados en tiempo de reposo. Lo que la convierte en la cinta más aterradora de todos los tiempos (hasta este momento).

Dirigida por Scott Derrickson, trata sobre una familia que se muda a una nueva casa. El padre que es escritor, encuentra videos caseros en el ático de terribles actos, al parecer de las familias anteriores. A raíz de esto, varias situaciones enigmáticas comienzan a sucederles a él y a su familia.

Good news has reached us for all horror lovers and for all fans of this demonic creature, as the return of Jeepers Creepers to the screen has been confirmed for October of this year.

The mythological beast of Jeepers Creepers has taken its place in the world of horror, thanks to its first two movies that despite being low-budget were successful.

Although Jeepers Creepers 3 (2017) disappointed many of its followers, Screen Media get the distribution rights to make changes and improve.

However, the fourth film is already around the corner to the surprise of many “Jeepers Creepers; Reborn” finished its recordings in Los Angeles between November and December of last year so it is already in the early stages of post-production.

In an exclusive for Variety, Screen Media confirmed that the new film will take a more terrifying turn than we have seen before, since its purpose from the beginning is to attract again the entire audience that was lost with the third movie.

“As excited as we are, we know that fans will be even more thrilled (and chilled) to return to the world of the Creeper, now with a much scarier vision from director Timo Vuorensola, who is the perfect fit to restart this franchise”

It’s not yet known which is the cast, not even images of the recording set have been shared that show us any idea of ​​what the new environment of the franchise will be, however Screen Media affirms that Jeepers Creepers will be a film that will surprise us…

Las cámaras de seguridad no solo ayudan a vigilar una casa, negocio, local u oficina de algún individuo que pretenda realizar un robo, sino que también captan fenómenos que van mas allá del ojo humano, sucesos terroríficos que si no fueran captados por estos dispositivos jamás lo creerías…

Es uno de los casos que veras a continuación, un video qué se viralizó después de ser compartido por el creador de contenido Jorge Moreno, cuyo canal de YouTube trata de misterios y ocultismo.

En el video se muestra lo que una cámara de seguridad captó dentro del museo paranormal ubicado en Yucatán, Mexico. Pues se ve el inesperado movimiento de la famosa muñeca apodada la “Annabelle Yucateca”.

Vemos un cuarto donde la muñeca se encuentra sentada arriba de un mueble junto a otros muñecos que también se encuentran expuestos en el museo.

Sin ventanas abiertas donde pudiera circular el aire, vemos como repentinamente la muñeca cae al piso de la nada, lo mas curioso es que se trata de la misma muñeca que representa a una de las mas famosas y peligrosas del mundo “Annabelle”.

Dicho material fue subido hace unos semanas por Jorge Moreno, quien comparte su punto de vista al explicar que dicho suceso es imposible debido a que la ventana que se encuentra a unos centímetros de la muñeca esta completamente cerrada, ya que las cortinas permanecen intactas y sin mostrar algún movimiento que haya sido realizado por el viento.

El video se hizo popular al instante impactando a muchos usuarios de las redes sociales, sin embargo, otros aseguran que se trata de un video montado para dar vida nuevamente al museo…

“Se nota que todo es completamente falso. Está más que claro que Moreno ha usado esto para promocionar el lugar donde se halla la muñeca”, aseguraban algunos usuarios, mientras que otros compartían su experiencia  al visitar el museo Yucateco.

“Yo visite el museo y conocí a la copia de Annabelle, les aseguro que esa muñeca tiene algo, yo y otros amigos fuimos testigos de cómo nos perseguía con la mirada”, compartió una internauta, ademas de otros comentarios similares.

¿Será un truco publicitario? o ¿Será que en realidad aquella muñeca esconde algo oscuro en su interior como la original muñeca de Annabelle?, quizás no lo sabremos pero lo que sí, es que el video es algo fuera de lo común…

Para todos los amantes de las novelas de Tim Burton, especialmente los fanáticos de “El Extraño mundo de Jack” les traemos no buenas, sino ¡Excelentes noticias para que se vayan preparando! pues se ha confirmado el regreso de Jack y sus amigos…

Se trata de la nueva secuela de la clásica película “Nightmare Before Christmas” de Tim Burton, solo que esta vez se centrara en uno de nuestros personajes favoritos, la querida Sally, la muñeca con costuras y hecha de trapo.

La autora del libro, Shea Ernshaw, es quien le vuelve a dar vida a todos los increíbles personajes del extraño mundo de Jack. En esta nueva novela, veremos que el tiempo ha transcurrido en donde Sally ahora es la esposa de Jack Skellington, lo que la hace Reina de Calabaza de Halloween Town.

En una premisa, Shea Erneshaw nos comparte que Sally comete un incidente, el cual, suelta sin querer a un terrible villano que se escapa hacia todos los mundos.

Pronto, todos sus amigos, incluyendo Jack se verán en peligro por lo que Sally decide emprender un viaje hacia otros mundos (el reino de la navidad y otros inexplorados) para capturar al villano.

Sin embargo, en su trayecto como reina Calabaza descubre misteriosos secretos, secretos que la ayudan a descifrar cómo puede salvar al mundo, ademas, de luchar contra nuevos descubrimientos de su vida pasada.

En una entrevista, la autora de la novela Shea Ernshaw, dijo lo siguiente…

“Este nuevo libro, escrito desde el punto de vista de Sally, tiene lugar poco después de que termina la película. Es la historia de amor aún por contar de Sally y Jack. Pero también es una historia de mayoría de edad para Sally, ya que la vemos navegar por su nuevo título real como la Reina Calabaza de Halloween Town.”

Haunted: Latinoamérica es la serie de Netflix que todos estamos esperando… No solo por las espeluznantes historias que se avecinan sino porque también en esta temporada se hablara sobre algunas leyendas apegadas a la cultura Mexicana…

En el trailer oficial de la serie se revelaron varios casos que saldrán en pantalla, resaltando uno de los más conocidos de Nuevo Leon, se trata de la famosa “Casa de Apodaca”

Ubicada en la zona metropolitana de Monterrey, en el municipio de Apodaca, este sitio guarda una escalofriante leyenda, pues se dice que el fantasma de una niña deambula por todo el lugar…

La historia se remonta al año 2003, cuando ocurrió uno de los sucesos mas lamentables que conmociono a muchos de los residentes de la colonia Moises Saenz.

El cuerpo sin vida de una niña de 4 años, fue encontrado en un terreno baldío tres días después de que ella desapareció.

Nunca se supo quién fue el culpable de dicho acto tan terrible, sin embargo, con el paso de los años se reconstruyó la colonia como tal, y en el terreno donde fue encontrada la niña se construyó el Kinder de Moises Saenz.

Según La leyenda, se dice que la pequeña se aparece por los alrededores de la colonia, sobre todo en el Kinder donde varias maestras aseguran haber visto a una niña aparecer y desaparecer mientras caminaba por los pasillos, incluso, en algunas ocasiones fue vista asomándose por las ventanas de la escuela.

Haunted Latinoamérica hablara del caso de esta pequeña, sin embargo la historia se centra en una casa ubicada en la misma colonia donde el espíritu de la niña hace constante su aparición.

This is the story of “Okiku”, the possessed doll…

This tragic story dates back to 1918 when a young man bought a souvenir doll for his little sister in Sapporo, Japan. The doll was 40 centimeters tall, dressed in a kimono, her hair was short up to her shoulders, and her eyes were black as a moonless night.

Little Okiku, 2 years old, adored her from the first time she saw her, and together they spent the best year of their lives until a cold unfortunately made Okiku sick, taking her to her grave, separating from her best friend: the inseparable doll who she had named after herself… Okiku.

Her relatives made a shrine to Okiku and placed the doll on the altar, as a representation of the child, where they prayed to her every day for her eternal rest. As time passed, Okiku’s hair began to grow down to her knees, a sign that their deceased daughter had clung to this world and possessed her most precious doll to stay forever.

In 1938, the family gave the doll to the Mannenji temple, where the monks have cared for her as a deity, cutting her hair periodically and taking photographs of her with different lengths of hair. To this day Okiku can be found on an altar in this same temple.

There is no doubt that Okiku is a paranormal being since scientists have performed various tests on her and although they find no explanation for the paranormal happenings, they all conclude that the hair belongs to a real girl.

Surely, most of us have seen hundreds of films that have marked part of our childhood, adolescence, or even adulthood. Without a doubt, one of these three films was one of those, which is why I want to talk to you about the relationship these animations have in a single story…

According to a theory circulated on the Internet, it says that these films follow the same character with his dog in different stages of his life, in short; Victor, the boy who revives his dog grew up and became the boyfriend of a dead, then when he died his soul was moved to the underworld where he finally became Jack, the king of Halloween…

Frankenweenie

It all started with the movie Frankenweenie where we meet Victor, an intelligent but extremely shy boy, who had almost no friends so the only one he considered his best friend was his dog Sparky. He loved science and earned the admiration of the new teacher who came to class for his peculiar way of explaining his theory about the power of lightning electricity in the human body.

However, being such an intelligent child in the field, this isolated him more and more from society. His father didn’t share the same idea, so he convinced him to get on a baseball team from his school so that he could blend in with the other kids his age and be a «normal» one.

Under pressure from his father at a baseball game, Victor threw the ball so hard that it flew out onto the avenue and they didn’t realize that his dog Sparky came out behind it. Unfortunately, while looking for it, a passing car hit him, leaving his poor pet lifeless.

This shattered Victor, losing his best friend but thanks to science he devised a plan which was to revive his dog Sparky and incredibly succeeds. However, because of this many colleagues discovered his experiment and brings problems to the life of the child when they try to do the same, but reviving monstrous beings. In the end, everything is solved, but the sad thing is that Sparky loses his life again.

People get together and put the wires from the car battery to place them in the body of their dog to pass energy to it, and thanks to this the dog gets up again, that’s how this movie released in 2012 ended, however, the theory says that that really wasn’t the end…

After this, Victor furthered his studies and created many inventions of which many were failures, but one, in particular, was his greatest success… a time machine.

Victor traveled to the past in the company of his dog, but on the way something went wrong and his machine broke down taking him back several years causing the boy to lose his memory along with a useless machine.

His only memory was that his name was Victor and that he had a dog that he decided to name Scraps, as he could not remember his real name. This is where we move on to the next movie, «Corpse Bride»…

Corpse Bride

Victor is found by a couple of fishermen and he returns rich with his great inventions, since in spite of everything he followed his great love and wisdom for the sciences. With the passing of time, his pet dies and Victor grows up to become an adult with his same essence… loneliness.

His adoptive parents force him to marry to improve his social condition, a situation that Victor did not like very much, however, it was not so bad because he meets his future fiancée Victoria, and ends up totally in love with her.

Victor’s nerves and carelessness at the rehearsal ceremony, do not allow him to do things right and he ends up getting into a mess by transporting himself to the world of the dead where he meets Emily and meets his now bony dog Scraps.

After a long adventure full of conflicts, Victor manages to help Emily and free her from her curse to finally be transferred to her eternal rest. Finally, Victor returns to the world of the living to fulfill his dream, marry his beloved Victoria, and live the rest of their lives together.

According to the theory, the following years Victor was very happy and loved his wife Victoria, but after his experience in the kingdom of the dead, he was marked for life and for that reason he loved Halloween, as this reminded him of his best friend Scraps, who would wait for him in the underworld.

On the other hand, his wife loved Christmas, and in spite of the differences, their love was so great that they both respected their preferences. Victor celebrated Halloween in a big way with Victoria, as well as she celebrated Christmas with him.

Time passed and the day arrived when Victor had to be separated by destiny from his wife, as he lost his life in a tragic situation on a Halloween night, he was finally reunited with his best friend Scraps in the afterlife…

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Victor in life loved Halloween so much, that in the other world he was chosen to be sent to «Halloween Town», a place especially for all the souls who love this holiday and carry out their eternal rest. He was sent with Scraps since he refused to leave without him, only that before leaving his memories had to be erased to wake up in this world and live a new «life» together.

It was then that Victor took on a new identity, naming himself as Jack, and his dog Scraps (formerly Sparky) as Zero. Jack became the king of Halloween because every night he showed his incredible passion for the celebration, however, soon after something inside Jack did not make him happy and he realizes that something is missing, that was the love of his life.

Even though he doesn’t remember anything about it, when Jack knows about Christmas he feels a great passion for this holiday, because inside he reminds him of his beloved Victoria.

That’s why the film shows how he insists on bringing Christmas to Halloween Town, even though all his fellow monsters oppose his plans, unconsciously Jack knew it was Victoria’s favorite holiday.

Returning to Victoria’s life, months after Victor’s death, she too loses her life and is sent to the underworld where she hopes to finally be reunited with her beloved husband.

Sadly, not finding him, she tries desperately to go to Halloween Town where she hoped he would be there and see him again, but not sharing the same love for that date, she was denied by the greater forces to be sent. She then goes to a scientist who helps her through by having her reincarnate in Sally’s body.

She doesn’t remember anything about her past life either, but fate brought her to meet Jack, and as in the beginning, she ended up madly in love with him, not knowing that he was really her beloved Victor, the love of her life…

The situations, adventures, and dangers that they live in this dark animated fantasy film makes them come together again, without even knowing that they always were, but this time for all eternity, and not alone, but also accompanied by Victor’s best friend… Scraps.

Mario Lara, dueño de una tienda que vende artículos para fiestas como dulces, globos y piñatas, asegura que su negocio esta embrujado pues después de vivir sucesos paranormales, la cámara de seguridad captó una de las imágenes más escalofriantes hasta ese momento…

De acuerdo con La Verdad Noticias, el propietario de dicha piñatería ubicada en México, compartió en sus redes uno de los videos más impactantes que se hizo viral en internet.

En el video muestra su local con las luces apagadas después de haber cerrado, en instantes se observa como la cámara de seguridad comienza a comportarse de manera extraña (apagándose y prendiéndose varias veces consecutivas) sin embargo, lo peor viene al final cuando inesperadamente un extraño ser muestra su escalofriante rostro entre las piñatas.

Por si esto fuera poco, el dueño afirma que los terribles sucesos comenzaron a partir de haber llevado una piñata que según, esta “endemoniada”…

Pero esto viene tiempo atrás, cuando el señor Lara compartió que durante un tiempo vivió fenómenos paranormales dentro del establecimiento, según explica que al abrir su negocio muchas veces encontraba sus piñatas tiradas en el piso, otras rotas como si alguien las hubiese destruido, además de extraños ruidos al fondo, bolas de pelos y hasta inmensos daños dentro de su local.

Estas situaciones se presentaban con más frecuencia por lo que decidió colocar cámaras alrededor y dentro del local para descubrir lo que sucedía. Sin imaginarse la oscura escena que estaba a punto de presenciar…

Fue el 18 de Octubre del 2020, cuando Lara recibió notificaciones de alerta que indicaban que había movimiento dentro del negocio a mitad de la media noche.

Mientras Mario observaba las cámaras de seguridad desde su teléfono móvil, quedo impactado al descubrir un misterioso rostro junto a las piñatas que no pertenecía ahí.

Por lo que decidió acudir inmediatamente para intentar saber lo que realmente era, sin embargo, al encontrarse dentro del establecimiento e investigar por toda la zona, dice que comenzó a escuchar extraños ruidos parecidos a los gruñidos de un animal.

Fue entonces que al llegar al fondo se llevo una terrible sorpresa que lo dejo totalmente paralizado del miedo, en el techo se encontraba una siniestra criatura viéndolo fijamente con los ojos brillosos. El escalofriante ser se encontraba justo por encima de la piñata “maldita”.

Muchos aseguran que aquella figura pertenece a la de un demonio, otros a los de una misteriosa criatura que no pertenece a este mundo…

Surviving Death es el nombre de la serie que ya podemos encontrar en la plataforma de Netflix. Una serie diferente a lo que estamos acostumbrados pues en esta nos revela los misterios “del más allá” basándose en la ciencia y los testimonios reales de la gente que afirman haber pisado el otro lado ya sea por minutos de fallecer o al realizar un viaje astral a diferentes planos espirituales.

Las respuestas son infinitas debido a la diversidad de opiniones, teorías e incluso experiencias, sin embargo, Surviving Death está dispuesto a llegar más allá para revelarnos la verdad.

“En este momento en que el mundo está experimentando tantas perdidas, espero que la serie le hable a cualquiera que alguna vez se haya preguntado acerca de un ser querido perdido” compartió el director de la serie Ricki Stern.

La serie está basada en libro de investigación que lleva por mismo nombre “Surviving Death” por Leslie Kean.

“La cuestión de qué nos sucede después de abandonar la vida es algo que hemos reflexionado a lo largo de la historia: enfrentarnos a la mortalidad nos lleva por un camino para explorar la posibilidad de que la conciencia continúe viviendo después de que el alma abandona el cuerpo”, dijo Ricky Stern en una entrevista para Hollywood Reporter.

“Al leer el libro de Leslie Kean, Surviving Death, me fascinaron los numerosos científicos y médicos que han estado estudiando esta cuestión, los casos extraordinarios en los que la gente ha fallecido y regresa para compartir sus experiencias, y las historias conmovedoras de personas que buscan contacto con sus seres queridos a través de médiums”. Explicó.

“La serie Surviving Death lleva al espectador a los laboratorios de investigación de los científicos que exploran la conciencia y a las vidas de personas reales que han experimentado pérdidas y dolor, buscando respuestas a la pregunta, ¿qué sucede en el otro lado? ¿Hay vida después de fallecer?”. Finalizó.

Quizás haya muchas respuestas o quizás nunca sepamos la verdad… sin embargo, lo interesante de esta serie es que podemos escuchar las teorías de científicos, médiums, expertos espirituales y paranormales, psiquiatras y personas quienes vivieron la experiencia de regresar del más allá, o con recuerdos de sus vidas pasadas; todos ellos se juntan para analizar el tema a fondo e intentarnos descifrar la verdad.

La muerte… uno de los misterios más grandes del mundo, quizás la serie nos ayude a comprender más del tema o tal vez nos confunda más, pero sin duda, Surviving Death no es una opción dejarla pasar para aquellos que buscamos respuestas…
