Ghostly figure sighting on the roof of an old asylum

One person captured the image that appears to be a woman standing on the edge of a roof of an old psychiatric hospital.

In the image you can see how it captured the precise moment in which a spooky figure was present on the roof of an asylum.

The photo was taken by a member of the Ebony Toth-Littlewood tour, who is engaged in night tours around the Sunbury Lunatic Asylum.

At the time of the capture he discovered the demonstration that left him surprised and immediately made it public on his Facebook account, saying the following:

“During one of our night tours of the Old Mental Hospital, Ebony captured what appears to be a patient on the roof of Old Nurses Quarters.”

This caused immense numbers of users to respond to the incredible appearance in the asylum. It even became so viral that it came to the sight of a woman, who claimed to be a former nurse from that place, she commented as follows:

“I think you’ll find that one of the patients jumped out of the nurses’ shelter. I worked there in the 70s and 80s.”

She says that the woman who demonstrated before the camera was a former “patient” of the hospital and removed her life jumping off the roof.

The story of Sunbury Lunatic Asylum, says that when the asylum was in operation in 1879, the patients of the institution were treated with different infernal methods that included tied chairs, electrical therapies and were locked in isolated cages, to become crazier as if that were not enough.

After the asylum was discovered for retaining people “within their right mind” unfairly, or condemning people for the simple fact of looking different, it made its final closure.
