In 1676 in the Monastery of Palma di Montechiaro, Italy, a letter written allegedly by the Devil appeared, in a language that until recently had been indecipherable, since it didn´t come from any known place. But finally, thanks to the strange and mysterious community of the Deep Web, its partial translation has appeared on the internet.
The story of the writing has a peculiar origin, because although it could be guessed that it was written by some worshiper of the devil or the devil himself, it was not so.
In fact it was written in handwriting by Isabella Tomasi, a nun in a convent who had lived half of her life in it and which was presumed to be an exemplary sister, but who one morning woke up, like any other day, just that this time there were things out of the ordinary.
To begin with she had her whole body full of ink and in front of her there was a letter that she did not remember that it had been there during the night, but the door was closed inside, so no one could have put where it was.
She didn’t remember anything that happened, neither the letter nor why it was full of ink, but strangely she managed to recognize her calligraphy in the letter, so there was no doubt, she had written it.
In the convent the most obvious reason was given, if she didn´t remember doing it, but it was clear that she used her hands, there was no other answer but that it was something from hell, because in addition, from the strangeness of the origin, it was written in an unknown language.
341 years later it was finally deciphered, at least partially. During all that time it had remained in the monastery, as proof of the presence of evil forces that can appropriate the human body to seek its own ends.
And it was a scientific center called LUDUM, who surfing the Deep Web managed to find a decryption software that was surely used in the protection of important information (or quite the opposite) and that was something as complex as they had never seen a similar program before , so, trying to test the system, they took the diabolical letter.
Investigating, they found that the sister was a linguist in the convent that used the Latin, Greek and some Arabic languages, so they used these languages as a basis for the software to try to decipher the content of the letter, and it is just what It was believed that it was, at least according to its lines, because the partial translation is:
“God believes he can deliver mortals, this system does not work for anyone, perhaps now, Styx (a river that separated the world from the living in the underworld) is safe.”
